121 Captions is the first UK agency to provide remote speech-to-text captioning and note-taking, and the first in the world to provide realtime captioning to Google Glass.
As well as our core team, we work with a network of more than 500 professionally qualified captioners around the world to bring you the best possible service.
All our communication support professionals are registered and accredited by the following organisations:
Captioners: NRCPD, NCRA
Lipspeakers: NRCPD, ALS
British Sign Language interpreters: NRCPD SignSafe, MRSLI
Our deaf awareness trainers are fully qualified teachers (PTTLS, C&G, Cert Ed and ATLA trained) who are deaf themselves. Our careers consultants hold professional qualifications and insurance.
