The Deafness Resource Centre is an Independent Charity, established in 1928. We provide specialist services for D/Deaf people in the St Helens and Halton areas and the wider region.
We are always here to help with your communication support needs, and offer this service for D/deaf people in a variety of settings, ie, business, educational, medical, mental health and other community settings – anywhere that spoken English needs to be interpreted or spoken clearly for a deaf person. The Communication Service ensures that everyone will benefit from an effective and dependable service. We pride ourselves on this and have gained an excellent reputation over the years.

British Sign Language interpreters
Lip Speakers
Deafblind interpreters
Speech to text reporters (also known as Palantypists)
Note-takers; electronic and manual
