The Surrey Deaf County Cricket Club will be based at Woking and Horsell Cricket Club under the guidance of John Matthews who is an experienced UKCC Level 2 coach and signer.
The club will be split into two for juniors and seniors. Junior training is fully inclusive aimed at 5 – 15 year olds of any standard, the sessions will run on July 31st and August 7th from 10am – 4pm and are completely free. To book onto this fantastic opportunity please visit website.
The senior sessions will initially be trial sessions aimed at advanced players age 16 and over. The sessions take place on 31st July and 3rd August from 6 – 8pm at Woking and Horsell Cricket Club. Surrey already has in place a Visual Impairment team, county learning and physical disability side, an Emerging Player’s Programme aimed at International disability players and will now be covering deaf cricket which continues its work on making cricket accessible to all.
