The Fylde Coast BSL Centre
The centre was founded in 2007 by Janice Crossland-Jones. It immediately appealed to the locality and surrounding areas and has been a very successful business in the relative short time of existence, with students now travelling from as far as Exeter!
Since 2007, we have helped many students achieve learning the basics of British Sign Language (BSL) on our Foundation course to continuing up to a Level 6 NVQ Certificate in BSL. We offer this in a relaxed, friendly and encouraging environment where the length of the courses range from one day (Basic Deaf Awareness) to one year in duration. We keep the size of all classes small and intimate in order to provide maximum support and as much individual tutor attention as possible.
As well as teaching the range of courses at the centre, we also provide training to schools and to public service personnel at a time and venue to suit you.
