Forbidden Identity

Billy Read commissioned by Dance Hub, Birmingham for “Forbidden Identity”.

“Forbidden Identity” follows “Somebody’s Watching Me” in 2017 & “Sign Criminal” in 2018, it will take the form that mixes hip hop with live percussion to a new level and completes the trilogy of dance set in a dystopian future. It’s about deafness & creating secret languages to avoid surveillance.
