Deaf Vibe is a charity organisation based in Staffordshire and provide a number of useful services to the deaf community.
Deaf Vibe has a number of Visions which are to create a safe, friendly and relaxed environment where individuals can communicate, share feelings and offer support to each other; to create opportunities for individuals to accept and develop skills in coping with their own experiences of deafness; to encourage individuals to use their expertise and knowledge to empower others; to offer advice & information to individuals enabling them to make informed choices which promote their independent living; to signpost individuals to other services locally and nationally
Rowan Robinson and Ali France, Founders of DEAFvibe are both profoundly deaf and use speech & BSL to communicate and have a full understanding of the frustrations and barriers that people with a hearing loss face in their daily lives. We also have a strong empathy with people that we meet on a regular basis.
Deaf Vibe also has a HUB which deaf people can drop in for advice and information. There is also Deaf Vibe Cafe a chance to sign with other deaf people.
