Writtle University College |
|
Established in 1893, Writtle University College has been producing leaders in the land-based industries and organisations for more than 120 years.
We value students as individuals here at Writtle. We recognise that every single one of our students will have different requirements and career ambitions; this is why we ensure they are given the attention needed in order to achieve their goals.
Access to learning is provided through BSL, SSE, note-taking or a combination of all. Communication support is available in lectures, off-site visits, tutorials, one to one sessions, open days and interviews. The team also run deaf awareness training with peer groups and lecturers. Teacher of the Deaf provision is available for specific teaching support and access arrangements and we have a hearing loop system in lecture theatres and the main hall.
