Access Bedford’s aim is to work with the D/deaf and hard of hearing community to make Bedford Borough more accessible.
Access Bedford is run by a group of volunteers – 3 trustees and 4 committee members who coordinate a range of events and activities across Bedford Borough to improve access for the D/deaf community locally. There are no paid staff in Access Bedford – everything is done by fantastic and committed volunteers.

Our over 55s group which meet on 1st November at The Woolpack Hub, Bedford
BSL led tour of the Dreams and Nightmares exhibition at The Higgins museum 11am – 1pm
