Inclusion London supports 90 Deaf and Disabled Organisations working across every London borough. Through these organisations, our reach extends to over 70,000 Disabled Londoners.
We run a range of capacity building projects to help build the skills, knowledge, and sustainability of DDPOs and the wider disability sector. These include the Power Up Project, run in partnership with Transport for All, which provides information, resources, training and networking opportunities to over 200 organisations.
Our campaigns and policy team supports DDPOs to influence local and national policy on equality and inclusion for Disabled people. We voice Disabled people’s views through consultation responses and information papers, and by taking action such as lobbying, demonstrations and using the law.
London’s Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations make a huge contribution to our city: delivering services that make a real difference to Deaf and Disabled Londoners’ lives, removing disabling barriers and championing equality and inclusion.
