Feed your curiosity at our daytime discussions. Drop in to hear local scientists in conversation about their latest experiments, life in the lab and why science matters to everyone, all in the space of your lunch hour. Bring your sarnies with you to eat while you listen.

Is there such a thing as a group mind, the wisdom of crowds or mob mentality? Doing things in sync with other people creates a social bond, whether that is football fans chanting, soldiers marching or people dancing. Join Jorina von Zimmermann to explore her research into collective synchrony and how it influences individual behaviour and cognition.
